First Project in Second Life

Hello everyone, I am a student at Cag University. Today I will tell you about a project we did in the Virtual Worlds course. In the assignment we were asked to interview someone who works or owns a business in Second Life. We were then asked to report this interview by comparing it with the real-life business environment. We played a joint role with 3 friends in this assignment. Each of us supported the project by spending time in the game and getting to know new people. And we prepared the report together.

  The name we quoted in our report is Coral. We communicated with him at the same time with another friend from the group, and then my friend had a chat by asking the questions we prepared. Coral second life also hosts alongside the DJ. He greets everyone and chats with them. She has been hosting since 2015 and working over there since 2016. He was really kind and helpful. We had no trouble doing this homework. We even completed our interview in a short time. But we found an employee, and I decided to look for a business owner. I wrote to various cafes, hotels and real estate agents, but their business was busy as participation in SL increased due to the covid 19 outbreak. Then I met someone named Cherry. Cherry has been a second life user for 14 years. He buys and leases or sells land. He started this business in 2007. There is a strategy that Cherry has created while doing this job. Searching, buying, renting first class land at low prices. And take time to advertise. She said that she currently has around 60 rented land. Cherry uses the money it earns for land expenses. Computer engineer in real life.

  As a result, in this research, I learned that the work done in SL and the work done in real life are almost the same and that I can earn serious money here. Second life is a very large world. There are many things you can do in real life. But we learned that the workload in second life is less than in real life, and that working in second life is less stressful. 

In SL, people make money by having fun and getting to know new people and they can use the money they earn in SL in real life. I worked with pleasure while preparing this assignment. I love spending time on Sl. I like talking to people from different countries or different cities who are there.
